Because I LOVE trees, these ancient giants have always been calling me. Unlike so many things and places that can let you down when they’re overhyped, the Redwoods don’t do that. Instead, I’m told they have made grown men cry and they made me feel more at peace than I have in longer than I can remember. This trip is about bringing you the lesser-visited parts of the state of California, so we focused on Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park and Founders Grove in Humboldt Redwoods State Park.
