Let's talk about food in @VisitAustria!! #AustrianTime 🍴*swipe left* 🍴I knew it would be good but I didn't expect it would be SO GREAT. From my first night at Am Holand to my lunch at Gasthof Krone (the first photo), to my first time trying Käsespätzle in Lech Zürs am Arlberg (the last photo)...I was blown away by the flavors and the variety. I actually asked for larger portions of the cream and the beef broth soups, I couldn't get enough of the salads and even though I didn't usually have room for dessert by the time it was offered, I tried to make room because it too was innovative or unusual in the best ways every time. I particularly loved the use of herbs and vegetables that seemed picked from a garden minutes before I sat down as well as the local cheeses highlighted from breakfast to dinner. Six hours of hiking up and down mountains will make you hungry but instead of craving heavy foods, I was so glad to find so many healthy dishes that still filled me up. If you like to trav...
