On this day six years ago, I was in the middle of my first ever trip to @VisitAustria. It was a trip that changed my whole life, really, even though I had already changed my life drastically a few years before that when I switched from being a wedding & portrait photographer to being a travel photographer. It was one of the first times, or it was the first time, that I was a speaker at a conference. Between that and the friendships that I made during that visit to Innsbruck as well as Seefeld in Tyrol — Austria, and that trip in particular, will always hold a special place in my heart no matter how long I live. I’m excited to spend this week exploring the country again, visiting places I didn’t get to six years ago and places that have a long tradition in the history of my family.
