Fitting for a place that overall is so cloaked with myths and legends, the peak of Snowdon usually lies hidden in clouds, mist or fog and locals rarely get a clear view of it! Yet, we did! We had incredible weather while driving through Snowdonia National Park and so we stopped at this spot where you can see the peak directly ahead and just to the left of @lesleyannemurphy's head, dusted with snow. High up there somewhere are the lakes that legend tells are the final resting place of Excalibur, the sword of King Arthur. It is either Llyn Llydaw, Dinas or Ogwen. Laying in wait for Arthur to return, the sword is guarded by the Lady of the Lake. A bit to the left and down below from where Lesley is standing, is a lake that myth says is where the battle of the two dragons happened which led to the red dragon being on the Welsh flag. That story I'll tell with another photo! 🏔 #FindYourEpic @visitwales
