We spent the first half of our trip to @yellowstonecountry inside @yellowstonenps exploring inside the Caldera. It's the most active part of the park with four different types of thermal features sending puffy clouds of steam up into the air in the Upper and Lower Geyser Basins. The trees look like they're out of the pages of a fairy tale because of the way snow and moisture from the hot air clings to the heavy limbs, and there are so many colors to the soil and the water and the mud that collects like pink, green and turquoise. But it was the blue of the sky, the peach of the sunlight filtering through the steam and the blinding-white of the snow that I couldn't stop taking photos of. Respecting park rules and staying on the boardwalks at all times, I still found no shortage of inspiration for my lens and in the peaceful stillness of moments like this I renewed my commitment to the #YellowstonePledge and to a personal mission of making sure that all of our National Parks remain a trea...
