Though I was working and not marching, on @womensmarch day, the ideals that caused others to were never far from my mind; nor were the issues which peaceful marching sought to bring to the forefront everywhere from D.C. to Nairobi. They are a part of the mission that drives me every day, no matter where I am. Meeting incredible women as I travel reminds me that the real March is 24/7/365 and on January 21 in particular, I was blown away by Shirl Ireland who, with her husband's help, built an amazing art studio, gallery and guest lodge out of nothing in a spot you can see when you @visitgardinermt called Elk River. I'm sitting on the porch of the guest lodge in this photo and it's a spot I want to return to again because I completely fell in love with Shirl's vision and design for life in Montana.
