While it's easy to see how nearby Neuschwanstein Castle could take all the attention in the Allgäu area of Bavaria, I think it would be a mistake for any visitor to be in this part of @germanytourism and not take the time to properly visit the town of Füssen. Our #GNTBsummit group was able to spend a few hours in the town and it wasn't nearly enough time for me but one of the highlights was this meal at the Hotel Hirsch. They're well known in the area and my experience is that sometimes well known restaurants become so well known the quality can end up suffering. This is not at all the case here. Hotel Hirsch was the best food I had during my short time in Germany last week and I'm still dreaming about this meal in particular: boiled beef with horseradish sauce, potatoes and steamed carrots.
