Life is so funny sometimes. I landed in Puerto Rico this AM and tonight at the opening party for @doradobeachreserve's Culinary Getaway I met a guy who lives part time in Arizona. He could hardly believe I was just there this weekend. Which reminded me I never posted a photo from the Grand Canyon and I should probably do that.... But I didn't want to post a typical photo. I don't love doing that. You can see typical photos of the Grand Canyon almost anywhere. Even if you've never been you probably know what it looks like! Instead, I thought I'd channel one of my all time heros of photography: Ansel Adams, and share this black and white image I took from the South Rim. It is crowded and I've been told the North Rim is a more pleasant view of the Canyon. But standing here as I took this, with the people swarming around me competing for a spot to stand in, I didn't really care. I just thought, "OMG that's gorgeous!!!" No matter how you go or where you go specifically, I really believe you...
