Woke up at @vedema_resort in a sun-soaked blue & white universe. The side of the island of Santorini that Vedema is on is more flat and features less cliffs than what you typically see in photos of this island but that doesn't stop the resort and the village around it from having that same oh-so-Greek style of architecture where everything is built in layers. A house might be on top of a church or vice versa and an old wine cellar might be underneath it all. Or an ancient cave-style home dug deep into the long-cooled lava rock. We discovered one such cave early this morning while exploring and filming for @beautifuldestinations and @theluxurycollection.
