Earlier this year, NFL Veteran Brennan Scarlett had the incredible opportunity to visit São Paulo, Brazil! In celebration of the bicentennial of diplomatic relations between the US and Brazil, the US State Department decided that there’s no better way to honor our connection than through the game of football. As part of this unique celebration, the State Department partnered with USA Football and NFL International to send Brennan and his partner in crime, Ashlea Klam, to São Paulo. Their mission? To spread awareness and love for American football in Brazil. With the NFL’s first game in South America being played in São Paulo between the Eagles and the Packers, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. They were there to help ignite the passion for football and introduce the sport to a wider audience.
