Woke up this morning in another dream-come-true, in another palace,
@lebristolparis! I've wanted to stay overnight at this
@leadinghotelsoftheworld property since I dined at their Michelin-starred 114 Faubourg restaurant back in 2013. That was, and still is, the best meal I've ever had in France! Last night after checking in, I had coffee with
@lostncheeseland in Café Antonia which has been redone since I was last here and which is now home to a stunning painting of Marie Antoinette, acquired from la Louvre by the Oetker family. My art-nerd heart was beating extra fast!! 😜 In the evening,
@paintthenight and I enjoyed the award-winning cocktails of Le Bar Bristol before catching up with
@kasiadietz &
@leahtravels. It was Leah who explained Le Bristol owes its Palace designation to
@visitfrance who gives out the label to only a select few hotels in the country of France!
