My first full day to @visitpuertovallarta was PACKED FULL of so many things that my Snapchat from yesterday probably lasts 5 minutes end to end (are you following me there yet? 👻 kirsten.alana) but by far my favorite part was spending the morning getting to know the employees at @canopyriver. This outdoor adventure company was started in 2007 with just 500 pesos each, from 35 families who wanted to provide employment opportunities for their children so they would not have to leave Mexico to find work. Now 76 people work hard to make sure that those who @visitmexico are able to truly learn about the culture and experience the best of the mountains that loom large above Puerto Vallarta. They're also working to find ways to employ more people. Riding on an ATV and hiking down to this waterfall and swimming hole was perhaps the most fun part of my actual tour.
