Breast cancer caused a lot of turbulence in my life. But I took that turbulence and turned it into fulfilling opportunities — like writing my first romantic thriller book, The Accidental Sisterhood! My diagnosis gave me the push I needed to follow this dream. I know a diagnosis can be scary — trust me, I was terrified — but it gives you a new perspective on life. You learn to appreciate the little things and not take anything for granted. You learn to find yourself and find a community — a sisterhood, if you will — and realize that life is full of opportunity!
