This #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, I want to throw it back to the speech I gave at Moffitt Cancer Center earlier this year and shine the light yet again on those who often go unrecognized but meant the world to me when I needed them most. They are the heartbeat of Moffitt and alone with the brilliant Dr. Czerniecki and his incredible team, became a part of my breast cancer journey sisterhood. Honorary fellow sisters shout outs too as well! They gave me strength and comfort, hugs and warm blankets when I was frozen with fear. They helped me feel whole again, stay positive and get well.
