It may be called the Day of the Dead, however the parades and festivals surrounding this Mexican holiday truly bring the city to life. Día de Muertos is celebrated throughout the world, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a better place to participate than San Antonio, which stages events bigger and better than any city in Texas—and, likely, in the entire US. Beginning today and going through November 7, the city celebrates 'days' of the Dead with parades, festivals, cultural events, and more.
