If you've been following me for a while, you know I usually try and have a really thought out caption for every picture. I like to tell a story, or give some history; or just in some way bring you right into a moment with me. This time, all I want to share is that I saw this vignette during a great tour of various neighborhoods (called 'comuna') of Santiago that we did with
@upscapetravel and I just had to stop and take a photo of it because I thought it was indicative of the comuna of Lastarria which is somehow both refined and elegant yet also just the slightest bit unpolished as well. I also loved that the VW reminded me of home because it's the car my mother was driving when I was a kid.
