We've left the desert, via a short flight from the new & rather modern Calama airport, to Santiago with @lanairlines, and it's almost strange to be somewhere with so little sand, so much greenery. Yet it's also nice to look out from my balcony at The Aubrey and see a city skyline after so many days with nothing but rocks and dirt. I don't know how it's possible but I believe I'm actually equally a city girl, and a country girl. Country including the desert! It was so special for me to get to know the Atacama and now I look forward to discovering what charms lie hidden in Santiago, the Casablanca Valley, and Valparaiso! We've got a few fine dining experiences on the schedule, some cultural sightseeing and some wine tasting back out in the wine regions of Central Chile. So much still to discover, in terms of what #OnlyInSouthAmerica really means. And I'm really loving the hashtag #onlyinChile as well. //👖by @officialnydj 👢by @poppybarley
