It's funny how some physically beautiful places don't photograph as well as others. Moments are similar. Sometimes the most beautiful experiences; whether shared or solo, will always be better merely in one's memory vs what they might be like in even expertly produced photos or video. When that happens, I often think of Sean O'Connell's speech in 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,' when after seeing the elusive Snow Leopard, he says to Walter that sometimes he doesn't take a photo, he just stays in the moment without the distraction of the camera.
