Woke up to 112K followers!!!! I can't even believe it. 😳 To celebrate, I've traded the desert of my home country for the desert of Northern Chile. The adventure is off to a great start. I had a fantastic uber-comfortable flight down here with @LANairlines in Premium Business class and then driving to our accommodation near San Pedro was a feast for my eyes and my camera lens. It is so barren and yet very visually compelling. Recent rains have brought a lot of salt to the surface, that's the white you see in the background and there are lots of other colors to be seen depending on which way you look; also though it is flat in many parts, all of the sudden the terrain can change and become very rocky. I can't wait to spend the coming week finding out what #OnlyInSouthAmerica means. I hope you'll enjoy following along.
