As I burrow in for a long work day at home in NYC, I find myself wishing I was back at The Caledonian in Edinburgh. This @waldorfastoria property has a luxurious afternoon tea that @dante8 and I enjoyed so much because the maître d' took the time to recommend four teas total based specifically on our likes and dislikes and the fact that I also started with champagne. If you like Scotch Whisky, I'd recommend the Lapsang Souchong from China which has a peaty essence and some smoke that makes it comforting and warming on a frigid winter afternoon. It's not quite the same but I'm definitely brewing myself a cuppa after I post this... Now if only I could get that Eggnog Panna cotta, best dessert on the tray! #blogmanay
