One of the best ways to learn about whisky in Scotland, if you're starting in Edinburgh, is to visit the @ScotchWhiskyExp. Their interactive exhibit goes step by step through the process of making Scotch Whisky. And their Amber restaurant perfectly pairs local cuisine with fine whisky, a delectable experience. But the real highlight for me, is taking the full tour that ends in their whisky room. It's actually the World's Largest Collection of Scotch Whisky and it was created by Brazilian whisky enthusiast Claive Vidiz over the course of 35 years before it was brought here to Edinburgh where it now permanently sits. There, surrounded by sparkling bottles of crystal and glass with labels of all shapes and sizes, we tasted @GlenmorangieUSA's 'The Taghta' which is the only whisky to have yet been made determined by influence from social media.
