I could have gone anywhere for a glass of wine and a rest for my weary feet after my long (but very lovely) tour this morning. I came back to my @SPG home because the view of Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute can't be beat, the service is flawless and the wine list superb. It's not often I choose to spend very much time at a hotel when I travel. I want to be out, exploring!! This is different. I could sit along the Grand Canal here at Gritti and watch the world go by forever. I can hardly tear myself away to be my usual exploratory self. I like the #spglife in Venezia very much.
