This is the ornate Winter Garden, with its stunning Murano glass chandelier, where I began my last full day here in Firenze. Just one more illustration of why this property is in The Ultimate 10 category of @SPG's Member Favorites list for 2014. It's not my personal style and yet there's something about the setting that just elevates my mood and tone for a day of touring the Duomo and seeing (finally!) the statue of David.
