The St. Regis is a former palace that was designed by Brunelleschi and even though not every detail or furnishing is original these days, the spirit of the original lives on in the well appointed interior of the opulent hotel today. This is the check in salon that I fell in love with at first sight and which sets a tone that's more than matched by the staff and overall experience which follows. It's not overdone, it's just right.
