What a fantastic day for CHS Walkathon 2024. Our community capped off our annual fundraising effort with the traditional Walk for Canisius in and around Buffalo’s Elmwood Village, including a visit to Delaware Park amid the fall foliage. The CHS Drumline got the walk started as students and faculty exited the Blue Doors. Students composed chalk art outside the Kennedy Field House, where walkers returned after a couple of hours for another epic Faculty vs. Seniors Basketball Game – and an even more epic awarding of Walkathon pie-in-the-face incentives (#staytuned). Students raised thousands over the last several weeks, exceeding several goals as they competed for Walkathon contests and incentives through our pioneering House System.
