A group of 14 seniors and four faculty members recently traveled to the Adirondack Mountains for our annual Wilderness Retreat, a three-day experience that engages the participants in quiet time and reflection among the stunning wonders of nature. Building upon the foundations established as underclassmen, participants in the Wilderness Retreat embrace St. Ignatius’ maxim to “find God in all things.” To do this, students engage in a reflective experience in the beauty of creation, focused on the journey of life and understanding their relationship with Christ as well as their companions. The experience couples challenging, rewarding hikes throughout the day with reflection and conversation at night.
