We are saddened to announce the passing of Jim Stewart. Jim was the co-founder of Stax Records and helped produce Otis Redding’s biggest hits. Jim’s soulful “Memphis sound” will forever be loved and cherished. As a producer, engineer, businessman, and mentor, Jim was truly a pioneer in music. He will be missed by many.
