To the little girl who used to have to take naps to attend Komets games, had her room full of posters of the Komets players, used to say she wanted to dress like hockey, used to get the keys to the refs locker room at the rink to get candy, watched one her brother’s win a hockey state championship which meant missing her own volleyball tournament, traveled across the country to watch her other brother play hockey multiple times including winning two gold medals, and spent countless hours at the rink at her own will. I hope you were proud Sunday when you thought you were just putting your camera bag in a room to use for the Spacemen game, but you were able to photograph the Komets game too.
