You'd never know it from this image of just two loony dookers, but this year saw more than one thousand people in costumes descending into the frigid waters of the Firth of Forth to participate in the @edhogmanay tradition that actually predates Hogmanay itself. For more than 25 years people have been dunking themselves willingly and after creating a Loony Dook with @peterparkorr last year during #blogmanay, I can tell you I wouldn't do it again. (But it sure was fun once!)
