Hailey’s first THON™ was attended virtually in 2021. The Dougherty Family was paired with Club Softball and became close with their dancers even though they were all dancing from home. This connection was huge for Hailey, who had been isolated throughout treatment because of COVID-19. She began going to THON Teen Nights, which allowed her to talk to kids her age. Hailey and the Dougherty Family love being paired with Club Softball! They enjoy going to the creamery for ice cream and hanging out after games. Hailey made the whole team bracelets, with little softball beads she painted herself, along with two navy blue and two white beads per bracelet. She made sure every player on the team had one.
