In these dark times, as we witness the ethnic cleansing of our people in Gaza, it is hard to find the words to express the magnitude of the pain, loss, and horror.
Palestinians are being forced from their homes, walking into the unknown, fleeing from death. Hospitals are under siege, unable to provide care, and people are surrounded by the destruction of everything they have ever known.
No one is safe, not even the journalists who document our suffering. And this genocide continues and has extended to Lebanon. And yet, amidst all of this, we see the media writing stories sympathizing with the very soldiers who are inflicting this terror, portraying them as the victims.
How can we make sense of such cruelty, such injustice? How do we keep breathing when the air around us is filled with grief, with death, with inhumanity?
