MURDERS ON THE MENU: On Friday night in the FATB, the second-period Theatre 2 class premiered their murder mystery play, “Dinner at 8, Dead by 9.” The play offers a dinner-theatre like experience, with audience members seated on the stage. Sophomore Mitch Peters plays Tommy Knackers, a server at the dinner theatre and boyfriend to Darby. Peters said that the role was a fun experience because of how different it was from himself. “Tommy is not the brightest character in the whole show, he’s kinda like, edgy and all,” Peters said. “I didn’t know playing a character that was the exact opposite of me would be so fulfilling, but it was. I was really good, and I think a lot of people laughed.” Peters said that the play’s opening-night performance went well, and he hopes they will do as well in their next and final performance on Wednesday night. “Opening night went great,” Peters said. “I hope everyone’s in their A game for the second night though.
