After losing set one, the Knights avenged themselves by beating the Ann Richards Stars in the second set 25-18. Senior Satya Russ started the set off by serving but her serve went out of bounds, giving the Stars the early lead. The Stars then extend their lead to two points when junior Lexi Rosenblatt misses a dig. Senior Great Carlson then had her first kill of the set and senior Helen Rodgers served four times in a row, tying the score at five. Sophomore Sienna Martens then puts the Knights in front with a block. Ann Richards then calls a timeout which doesn’t dampen the Knights’ momentum because Rosenblatt gets three aces in a row putting the Knights up 10-6. On the next point, Ann Richards gets a kill putting them three points behind the Knights. The Stars then go on a three-point serving run tying up the game 10-10.
