There’s a mindfulness practice called Savoring, where you document all the small moments in an ordinary day that make you feel alive.
It completely shifted how I felt about gratitude. I physically couldn’t ignore what I needed to feel grateful for, because I was literally documenting it.
Now I’m not saying you have to turn on your camera a million times a day now, but this compilation definitely gave me a boost of gratitude & motivation to keep moving forward.
Here’s the secret: You have to start romanticizing your life.
You have to find the joy and beauty in those small moments that make up your everyday.
Your life is a movie, and if you continues to compare yourself to someone else’s highlight reel… you’re going to feel stuck in your movie like a bad actor, completely forgetting that you’re the director.
Find gratitude in your ordinary 💛
