Gae Aulenti (1927-2012) triennalemilano
The exhibition is a real tribute to a versatile figure who has left valid contributions in various areas: from architecture to graphics, from design to interior design to scenography. “Aulenti’s way of observing reality and then transposing it into the field is completely personal; Gae Aulenti aims to contextualize his interventions that have their own identity and immutable characteristics to preserve and respect. Drawings, photographs and environments recreated in 1:1 scale, reminding us of the great projects carried out by the “lady of Italian architecture”, from Piazza Cadorna in Milan to the Institute of Italian Culture in Tokyo, from the bat lamp to the transformation of the Gare d’Orsay railway station into the splendid Musée d’Orsay.”
