On Friday, August 19, our community event took place at @fortorangebrewing in Albany, NY with nearly 100 in attendance. This event not only celebrated Stroke Across America, but also commemorated Michael’s return to his hometown of Albany. Michael graduated from @thealbanyacademies in 1984 and he was able to reunite with a handful of his classmates. Michael also got to see his wife, Carolyn, for the first time since June 1 marking the longest they’ve been apart since they got married! A huge thank you goes out to Rockefeller Capital Management for their event sponsorship. We had a lively program on Friday with the @ahanewyork participating. The speakers included Julie Hart of @csrmovingmessage, Marjorie Rush - a carepartner, and Dr. Alexandra Paul - a neurosurgeon at @albanymed.
