Mariana De Dios was ready to start her college journey at Ball State, but life had other plans. Just days before classes began, she suffered a concussion in a serious car accident. Despite trying to power through, the impact of her injuries made it hard to fully experience college life. Realizing her path to success meant staying closer to home, Mariana made the decision to transfer to a university near Indianapolis.
