Pitching in for our community 🩵⚾️ Over the past few weeks, more than 130 Tampa Bay Rays players and staff volunteered 350+ hours to help our area heal after the impacts of Hurricane Helene and Milton. Catch them: ⚾️ Packing and/or distributing 50,000 meals in partnership with feedingtampabay. ⚾️ Clearing storm debris with our friends at girlsincofpinellas and unitedwaysuncoast. ⚾️ Completing 1,800+ loads of laundry for more than 500 people with engagecurrent. ⚾️ Building 30 oyster reef balls with tampabaywatch to combat erosion along the area’s shoreline, which will also eventually filter approximately 1.5 million gallons of water per day. All in addition to the $1 million financial commitment from the Rays Baseball Foundation, with initial contributions to unitedwaysuncoast, feedingtampabay, beaches_chamber, and stpetefl’s relief efforts. #TampaBayStrong
