Located on Hollywood Street, between Southern and Union avenues, Glenn Rogers, Sr. Street stands as a tribute to his courage and legacy. University of Memphis and City of Memphis officials, including UofM President Bill Hardgrave, Mayor Paul Young, and Councilman Chase Carlisle, joined together to recognize Rogers’ monumental impact.
