Cempasúchil (aka Marigold) season is here! 🧡 Originally from Mexico, its name originates from the Nahuatl word “Cempohualxochit!” which means flower with 20 petals. In pre-Hispanic times, the Mexica used it in altars, offerings and burials dedicated to their dead.
