Finishing out their season, the freshman football team fell to the Olathe South Falcons 31-28 on Oct. 24, at their home field. In the first quarter, freshman Max Sullivan caught an interception leading him to score a touchdown. The Lancers then scored an extra point. This extra point put the Lancers ahead at the end of the quarter, 7-6. Starting off the second quarter, freshman Luke Keller scored a touchdown followed by an interception by by freshman Reed Howard. By the end of the first half, the Lancers were leading the Falcons 14-6. The third quarter had multiple touchdowns and extra points from both teams. Freshmen Max Sullivan and Thomas Vanice both scored touchdowns extending the lead for the Lancers. By the end of the third quarter, the Lancers were ahead 28-21. During the fourth quarter, the Falcons make a comeback.
