The courtship display of the endangered California condor isn’t something to miss. The female (tag 9, on the left) arrives to share a high perch with her mate (tag J3, on the right). He then shimmies over and starts a slow, sultry, wings-out dance around his sweetie. These two will mate for life and be great parents, spending up to two years to raise each chick.
