Fixing errors in poor emergence profile by our educator dr_connick ⬇️ ・・・ In an ideal world injection moulding results in a perfect form with minimal polishing. Unfortunately that’s not the norm that I experience, and this case gave a good example of how to rectify a poor emergence profile. Step 1: The worst area to polish and adjust is always around the gingival margin (injection moulding I’m looking at you 😠) so get that sealed away with a tucked in Mylar (see previous posts on this). Step 2: Trim the worst excess off with a soflex then mark the line angles using the side of a pencil.
