Trying to convey the difficulty of anything through photography has always been my goal. When I started taking photos one of my favorite things to photograph was gymnastics. I would try to photograph the gymnast on the beam directly from the side to try and depict how narrow of a line they were doing all of the skills on. With climbing it’s the same. It’s all about showing the height, angle and ruggedness of the wall; the obstacle in the path of the climber. I absolutely love it. BUT shoutout to grady_duden for making it looks easy;)
