This Sarcoma Awareness Month, we’re shining a light on Oskar, an incredible young warrior fighting Ewing sarcoma. 💪 With the support of Team Attack Cancer, we’ve helped make his home more accessible, ensuring he has the comfort and care he needs during treatment. Oskar is now home in his newly renovated bedroom, recovering from surgery. Doctors at Dana-Farber and Boston Children's Hospital successfully removed the tumor from his femur and replaced it using a donor bone, plate, and screws. While he has a long road ahead, with more chemo treatments and being non-weight bearing for three months, we are so proud of how far Oskar has come.
