I recently got to spend a few days in Ghent, Belgium and it was ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL. I cannot STOP talking about this place and I’m seriously thinking of buying like a small cottage there with a really nice kitchen and a beautiful garden so I can take Lulu for long walks along the river and teach cooking classes in my backyard or something. LET’S START MANIFESTING. The most shocking thing to me, though, was how plentiful the plant-based options were! My jaw about HIT THE FLOOR when I saw some of the pastries that were totally vegan. But, I guess the Belgians know what they’re about when it comes to this sorta thing! Sadly, I did not get to try French fries (contrary to what one might believe, fries originated in Belgium!), but I guess that’s all the more reason to go back!!
