Sold for $1,586,250 at our 2023 Scottsdale Auction, this 1965 Ferrari 275 GTS, finished in the stunning ‘Blu Ferrari 20-A-180,’ showcases coachwork by Pininfarina. A rare, matching-numbers example, this car boasts a meticulously documented history, including 33 years with a devoted owner and an expert restoration by Motion Products (MPI) and North Coast Exotics. Chassis no. 07767 is the 137th of just 200 examples built and originally delivered to Ferrari importer Luigi Chinetti in September 1965. The car was sold in Texas to its long-term owner, Mr. Charles H. Noble, Jr., who commissioned a repaint and minor restoration. In 2012, it changed hands to a Ferrari collector in Ohio, followed by a significant restoration in 2017-2018. MPI refinished the car in its current blue shade, with a fully restored interior in Tobacco leather. North Coast Exotics rebuilt the matching-numbers V12 engine, fitted a rare 6-carburetor setup, and restored all mechanicals. With just 44,975 original miles...
