Mindfulness programs have been gaining traction in schools nationwide, but USC Dornsife’s Joint Educational Project has been successfully integrating these principles with local students for more than a decade. Through Little Yoginis, Trojans guide LAUSD kids and their teachers on calming breathing practices and yoga postures. Our programs also integrate principles of yoga with children’s literature, helping young students better manage stress and emotions.
