We had a fantastic evening last night at the conclusion of #LondonLitFest, with all six authors together in the @southbankcentre's Royal Festival Hall for the #2021BookerPrize shortlist readings event chaired by the wonderful @AlexClarkPresents. Highlights included Patricia Lockwood offering to 'eat the internet' for us, Richard Powers revealing that @gretathunberg was an inspiration for the character of Robin in 'Bewilderment', and @sirukavi confessing that he has been lying about his height online. Although the winner announcement was just three days away, the spirit of camaraderie was in full force, and all six authors were hugely supportive of each other's work.
