Worlds Fair Park was created for the Worlds Fair in 1982. Now more than 40 years have passed the park still stand in Knoxville,TN. The park was supposed to be a one and done after the fair was over but as time passed it is visited by locals and tourist all around. Many events are held year round either in the Sun Sphere, on the lawn, or at the amphitheater. Prominent features like the Sun Sphere, Knoxville Convention Center, World War II memorial, and KMA (Knoxville Museum of Art) make its home at Worlds Fair Park.
